The Monumental Lighting is the nocturnal lighting of Itaipu´s dam synchronized with a sound-track made especially for this attraction. From the Central Belvedere you will watch the wonderful spectacle of music and light that valorize even more the colossal structure of the power plant.
To realize this show, Itaipu made many modifications and received a sound technique, a big screen and lighting system with reflectors that make the landscape become even more gorgeous. The tourists and people who live in the neighborhood get very impressed mainly in full moon nights.
The Monumental Lighting can be seen on Fridays and Saturdays at 9 p.m. It is not necessary to book this tour, but you should arrive an hour before the tour begins.
