GuiraOga is an animal park in the middle of Puerto Iguazú´s forest, in Argentina, only some kilometers away from Foz do Iguaçu. The name is tupi-guarani and it means ´the bird house´, because there are many birds there.
The bird house was created to preserve the species, rescue, establish and reintroduce the threatened animals and their natural habitats. They receive animals that were victim of accidents, seized or some animals that were treated like pet animals.
The visitation is done by a trail through the forest where 120 animals of 50 different species can be seen. You will see reptiles, birds (peacocks, falcons, eagles) and mammals (capybaras, deer, raccoons and monkeys). In this park in Argentina you will also find areas destined to feeding, rehabilitation, a hospital and an Ecoshop for shopping.
Come to GuiraOga with Loumar Turismo transportation and without worries!
Working hours: from 8h30 a.m to 4h30 p.m
You have to take your identity card or passport to get into Argentina.
