Buddhist Temple

The Buddhism is a life philosophy based on Buddha thoughts. Buddha is ´the one who knows.´
It has become the fourth most followed religion in the world. Brazil has got many Buddhist Temples mainly because it is a country composed by many ethnic groups. One of the biggest meditation and study center in Latin America was built in Foz do Iguaçu by Chinese communities of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. Foz do Iguaçu is one of the most multicultural cities in Brazil.

The Buddhist Temple of Foz do Iguaçu impresses many by its monumental beauty. It has got a seven-meter high concrete replica of the imposing Buddha Mi La Pu-San. At least 120 statues represent each reincarnation of Buddha on earth and the main temple has got two thousand square meters and two floors, this is the place where the masters´ house is.

You will feel peace, because the Buddhist Temple has a very positive energy. It is a visitation place for those interested in religion; it is also a tourism attraction and a place for prayers.
