Banana Trees Trail in Iguassu Falls


For those who like adventure they cannot miss the tour of the Banana Trail. A trail in the middle of a subtropical forest in the magnificent Iguazu National Park, home to a rich flora, especially high concentration of palm trees, orchids and bromeliads. A trail of 2 km in length that allows the visitor's contact with the environment, especially for bird watching as the cormorant, the Caramujero hawk, the Toco toucan, and others. The tourists will have more detailed information from multilingual guides.

Reaching the end of the trail, there will be a tour on the upper section of the Iguassu River, where tourists will board a motor boat or inflatable kayaks and will be conducted through calm waters to the archipelago of the Taquaras Islands.

The tour also offers the option to visit the bunker, building raised 10 meters above the ground from where you can have a panoramic view of the beauty of the place. Visitors return to the same point of departure, on the pier located at the end of the Banana Trees Trail.

- Tips: Take sunscreen and insect repellent, wear loose fitting clothes and comfortable shoes.
